Your 30-Day Home-Teaching Blueprint

You don't need to be a math genius to introduce your child to the wonders of Vedic Maths. With a little consistency and a playful attitude, you can spark a lifelong love for numbers right from your living room.

Day 1-7: The Foundation

Focus: Introduce the 'All from 9, Last from 10' Sutra.

Activity: Use flashcards with numbers like 100, 1000, and ask your child to subtract numbers like 47, 382, etc. Make it a game: 'Beat the Calculator!'

Tip: Start with small, easy numbers to build confidence. Celebrate every correct answer!

Day 8-14: Fun with Multiplication

Focus: Teach the trick for squaring numbers that end in 5.

Activity: Write down numbers like 15, 25, 35, 45 and have a race to see who can square them faster. You do it the traditional way, and teach them the Vedic shortcut.

Tip: Explain the 'why' behind the trick: 25² = 20 x 30 + 5x5. This builds deeper understanding.

Day 15-21: The Base Method

Focus: Introduce the Base Method for multiplying numbers near 100.

Activity: Practice with numbers like 98 x 97 or 95 x 92. Use a whiteboard to draw out the simple steps. Show them how much faster it is than the long multiplication taught in school.

Tip: Use visuals. Draw circles and arrows to show the cross-subtraction and vertical multiplication.

Day 22-30: Consolidation & Fun

Focus: Review the learned techniques and apply them to real-world problems.

Activity: During grocery shopping, ask 'If this costs 78 rupees, how much change would we get from 100?' Use the techniques in daily life.

Tip: Keep it light and fun. The goal is to make math a playful part of life, not a chore.

Keep it Short

Just 15 minutes a day is more effective than one long session per week.

Make it Fun

Use games, rewards, and friendly competition.

Be a Learner Too

Learn alongside your child. It shows them that learning is a lifelong, enjoyable activity.
